Laura Froude worked with Diana Harrison a fellow artist on Fluidity they are now calling themselves ‘ Froudie and Harri’ The initial project stemmed from their joint interest and experience in Life Drawing as part of the professional group practising regularly in Laura’s studio in Folkestone.

They explored contemporary reflection on gender fluidity looking at the aesthetics of the human form and having discussion about social and political change.

The works comprise of a collage made of torn and applied life drawings which was then projected onto a large canvas on which the painting was developed in acrylic. The process was fully documented see #laura.froude for further photos and a GoPro film made in July 2019.

The final painting was sold within a month of completion and a second unique statement piece is at the planning stages .
